Hello on a Field of Flowers

As I was cleaning and purging some stuff this past week and working to reorganize some shelves and such I came across some stamps I totally forgot I had.  There were some by Amuse, Inkdinkado, Penny Black, Crafty Clear Stamps, Close To My Heart, and more!  Then I seen a cool sketch challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches and thought... I do need a card to share for today and why not use one of the "found" stamp sets and why not take the sketch challenge???  So I did and do.
This is sketch #486.

And this is what I came up with.  I worked to get decent images with the clear stamps from Penny Black but I don't have dye ink, only fusion with is a combination pigment/dye. I had the most trouble with the butterflies hence the gems in the centers. The set I used is called Nature's Gifts. Pretty cool!

I used all FSJ and Spellbinders products other than the stamps. I'll list them below. The scallop oval die I used has been recently retired from Spellbinders but it's one of my favorites and perfectly fits my oval dies from FSJ.

I double layered the Hello die cut to make it look like it had a bit of shadow.  I think that really helped make it pop a bit more.
Today I have a Valentine card class to teach. There are 5 ladies coming plus 2 who couldn't but need the kits.  Busy morning!  But now please head over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check out the cards!

This is so pretty and inspiring to dig out some older supplies. I love the pearls in the butterflies, it's great when something that we think didn't turn out the best ends up better that it would have if it did?? I'm really glad you created with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!
