A Workdesk Wednesday and an Easter Card

This past weekend I took part in a scrapping retreat but I don't scrap.... at least not much.  I did get a bunch of cards done between my work as being on staff of the AZ Scrapbook store who put this one.  It was great fun!  It's about the only time I get to "play with others".   I did get my stuff mostly unloaded and put away but today I have a class to teach so I will be printing the directions and reloading my crate.  But I also wanted to show you my desk as part of the international blog hop sponsored by Julia at the Stamping Ground.

I just realized that I didn't take a picture of my workdesk at retreat.  I had a 6' long by 18" wide table.  I brought a 2' x 4' table and a small portable shelf which made a world of difference.  But now to my work desk....   Left to right: red Cricut Expression and scraps and a Tattered Flowers die; new blue craft mat which is wrapped around my Scor-Pal  (I LOVE this new mat!!!) and ink pad; then foam mounting tape, sanding block, scissors, and acrylic blocks. Friday I hope to work on some cards for my May class as we have a store instructor meeting on Monday.  Tomorrow I have to work then meet my folks at mom's cancer doctor appt.  Today I am getting laundry done, have washed dishes, then prep for a class.  After the class I head to my folks church to help with a Big Tent Revival meeting where I help water the dirt road to keep down dust then help serve dinner.  I'm already exhausted!!

But I will show you one of the 9 or so cards I made this past weekend.  I made 2 cards like this but with different papers.  The other was my post before this.  The flowers on this pattern paper have glitter and  really pop even though the paper is shades of brown.

You can kinda see the glitter on the bottom card.  I really like this card style and do have one done as a card sample for my May card class.  But now please hop over to the Stamping Ground and check out all the cool work areas around the world!  I'll be hopping around a bit this morning and a bit more tomorrow morning.  I love seeing the great projects, too!

Whew, you are definitely busy! I'm glad you had play time with others. I am not a scrapbooker either but I do enjoy seeing others creations.

The Easter card is so pretty - love the flowers and the glitter!

I hope your mom's appointment went well. I hate the C word.

I honestly thought I'd be by sooner but better late than never!

Happy belated WOYWW
Peace,
