Work Room and a Reindeer

Today is WEDNESDAY! In fact, it's the first Wednesday in OCTOBER!! (Not that it has any significance but what happened to September?)  Another opportunity for you to see, not only mine, but work areas all around the world!  This cool time is brought to you by Julia Dunnit of the Stamping Ground.  She has organized this 226 Wednesdays ago and I sure enjoy looking around at the desks and, many times, fabulous inspiration!  My desk is a total disaster!  I'm in the process of packing for a 3 day scrapping retreat just 25 miles south of me through AZ Scrapbooking of Green Valley, AZ.  I have a list started of stuff I can't pack just yet and I have learned it's better to have too much than too little.

Here's 2 of my totes.  The one on the left will have "lighter" weight items but it will be heavy when loaded.
The one on the right is 2 pieces, top and bottom.  The bottom will be loaded with stamps and it's tray has embossing powder, Stickles, and whatever else I can get into it.  The top (front closed piece) will have inks, punches, rhinestone packages, scrappers floss, and again, whatever else I can get into it.  It will be quite heavy by the time it's loaded.

Ah, my heavy crate (thank goodness it has wheels).... it will have all my paper along with a basket of misc. scraps sitting on top.  Still haven't figured out where my Big Shot will go.  The white basket is full of cards, card kits, and 2 trash bags that hang off the desks.... all for sale.  The little tote on the left has my ATG gun, Scor-Buddy, and who knows what.  Oh, where will I put my Copics????  Geez.  Do I need to repack or buy another tote....

I did manage to get a card made yesterday inspired by a cool card on Operation Write Home blog. My stamps are by The Angel Company (reindeer and text) and Red Rubber Designs (trees).  I still need to get a couple more cards done for my Friday post and a special post in honor of World Card Making Day on Saturday.

So now that you're done with my post I would love to hear from you about my post today and then please head over to the Stamping Ground and enjoy all that's available to view there!

I wouldn't no where to start if I took that much stuff!!! I'm definitely on the side of making up small kits and working with what you have. I like the cute black tote with the ATG in. Have fun.

Packing for a retreat can be a challenge - I have one in November. Fortunately there is a scrapbook store very close to the retreat. Great reindeer card - love the big moon and the reindeer silhouette.
