Workdesk and a Rosette Pumpkin

Another workdesk Wednesday.  I hope you aren't getting tired of these.  I sure enjoy looking at desks from all around the world and getting some great inspiration.  And I appreciate Julia at the Stamping Ground for the work she goes through bringing all us together.  So please click on her blog link (at the end of this post) and grab your favorite beverage and take a look.

Ok, so what's here....  Halloween stickers and paper on the far left. Candy Corn duct tape.  Scrap paper.  Big Shot with paper and oval die. Scissors, sanding block, foam tape, ATC adhesive tool.  Above, lightbulb glove with flower, water spray bottle to clean stamps, stamp rag, ink...  Busy.

Now that you've seen my (ugh) desk here's a project I worked on this past weekend when hubby was busy.  I found it on Pinterest....

This little 3" high rosette pumpkin took me hours!  At least it seemed like it.  I think the longest part was holding the rosettes to the 1 1/2" circles for the glue to take hold and stick!

I got the idea from  Two Paper Divas but I changed it up a bit for the stuff I had on hand.  I used some copper wire to make the vines and just scissor-cut some green card stock for the leaves.  I did add some veins by scoring the leaves but they don't show up in my picture.

So please leave a comment on my desk or pumpkin then click HERE to go to the Stamping Ground and enjoy!

Love your busy desk! Your pumpkin looks fantastic - what a brilliant idea. Sorry you don't get robins but I bet you get some pretty unusual birds that would make me jealous! Chris77

Love the rosette pumpkin! Yep holding the rosette while the glue sets is the tedious part. Might have to make one my self. Thanks for the earlier visit! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #7
