What's On Your Workdesk Week 163 (for real)

Well, it's Wednesday!  And what do you get to do on Wednesdays??  You get a peek at my work area!!  This was started by Julia at the Stamping Ground and has developed into a monster blog tour!  It's so cool to see other crafters' desks!  Click on her blog name to all the links available.  So, without further ado...

As usual, its a mess.  I'm still playing with some ideas using Authentique paper (the poppies) and tags (Sizzix die).  But what I'm really happy with is my bottom drawer where all my dies and embossing folders are!  Now that my Spellbinder dies are in their storage case I can find what I'm looking for in this drawer!

What a relief!! I used to have the first Sizzix machine but sold it years ago when I got my purple Wizard (with which all these work great).  But I kept all the dies and some of these are VERY old!  My next organizing project will be my closet so we'll see what happens there in the future.

It is so nice to get organised, but it never really lasts with me. Nice desk. Francesca #93

I don't seem to use my sizzix much now. You've organised your lovely & to have them close at hold must be useful. Thanks for sharing jill #52

I like the idea of your dies in a drawer! I've been trying to decide how to best store mine! I just love Authentique paper and I have some of this same paper! I wouldn't call it a mess but "creativity in process"! Valerie #157

I have some really old sizzix dies too from my old big red machine, not sold it yet as it comes in handy for squashing things!

I am curious, if you sold your machine, what do you use with the Sizzix dies? I kept mine for embossing plates, don't use it to cut much else with it! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :) #50

Lovely organised drawer! Some of my ARTHaven has organised bits, but most of it is a bit of a tip I'm afraid, and not everything is as accessible as I'd like it to be! It's an ongoing process, isn't it.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Thanks for your lovely comment, Carol, and I'm so glad you like my new inks and the fun I'm having with the flowers. I've just uploaded another post about it.
