My title kinda reminds me of a Goldie Hawn/Mel Gibson movie called Bird On A Wire (which I enjoyed for it's slapstick-like humor) but this bird is in a tree. I'm working on my September classes for our LSS in Green Valley, AZ and found a cool stand up card and got to playing. I used the stamp set called Wonderful Tree and paper purchased from the LSS.
I start the class with the easiest card and work up so you'll have to stay tuned to see the next 2 of the class.
Now, I don't know why my closeups are not quite clear but I did get better contrast to show you the bird with my Photo Shop program. There is no "bling" but I thought the button and scrapper's floss (discontinued by manufacturer) added enough at this time. My second card uses this same set but the third will be more masculine.

I just made a couple of cards with this set and they were so cute - not a set I would have picked but glad we got it. Love your sample and I am sure the class will enjoy.
What a FUN card! I haven't seen this one before...at least I don't remember it
I agree with Trudy! Fun card. Had to chuckle about the Mel and Goldie movie - liked it!
