Wonderful Trees, part 1

Angel Marisa Alvarez developed 4 cool cards using Wonderful Trees, a fun set designed by Nina Brackett and found on page 28 in the Inspiration Book.  For the most part I followed the cards exactly but I needed some birthday cards so the text on a couple were changed.  We used Lilly Anna SWIC and matching cardstock and assorted ribbon on all cards.

I used Burnt Umber, Chartreuse, and Prussian Blue PH inks on both cards.

This 2nd card I used a birthday greeting from the Joyful Notes set. 

This is a very versatile set with birds, leaves, 2 tree trunks, and more.  I wasn't too sure if I liked it when I received it but it is growing on me (pun intended).
