Hang in There

An angel blogged about a young boy who was seriously injured in a car accident that claimed the life of his brother caused by a drunken driver.  I made this card to send to him for encouragement.  I used Good Timber and 2 shades for Bazzil card stock.  I also used my Scor-Pal and Scor-Bug to embellish this card.  I also used Running Stitches to make it look like I did some sewing on my card...

I stamped the tree with Cognac PH ink since it coordinated so well with the card stock.  And the text comes from the Sophisticated Sentiments hostess level A set.

I am in awe how clear my close-up picture turned out.  If only I can remember what I did....  Oh, can you see the holes in the stitching?  I used my paper piercer and an old mouse pad to make these.  I hope and pray the youngster pulls through and recovers quickly.  I feel so sad for the family to lose a son.
