Oh deer....

I like to give cards to my customers when they order.  And I try to use stamps that they purchased.  Well, recently a customer order Forest Friends and I used this set for a sketch challenge over on Paper Wings.

I think this card is a hoot! And the sarcastic comment came from the Laugh Lines set.  Don't you love the paper?? I used the Winchester SWIC and matching cardstock.  I used my 1/4" circle punch to make the little corner circles. I like doing that as it's a cheap and fast way to add an embellishment when you forget to put the brads in before attaching the pieces together.

Here's a closeup of the lower right corner.  I punched a bunch of leaves and adhered them to a 3/4" circle.

I used a bunch of Copic markers, too..
Bushes: G19, YG09, &YG06
Deer: YR24, E55, E57, & E74
Outline: B41 & the Blender
I used a black glitter gel pen on the eyes and noses.

Here you can see that the "deer circle" is raised with a single layer of foam mounting tape but the leaves are raised with a double layer for more dimension.

Did you enjoy the Wicked Good blog hop Saturday?  There were sure a bunch of angels taking part. I'm still looking at all the great projects and leaving some "love" with each one.  BTW, there's another coming up the end of the month!!! And us Paper Wingers will be having one next weekend!  Stay tuned!
