Delicious Fall...

Here is southern AZ we don't get the beautiful fall colors, seems like it's either green or brown.  But I tried to capture some of those beautiful colors in this 2nd card for my "Give Thanks" class on Oct. 27 at the AZ Scrapbooking store in Green Valley, AZ.  Again I used TCP Studio pattern paper and Bazzil cardstocks.

The cool leaf is made by Prima Flowers.  It's appears to be a skeleton leaf adhered to a paper leaf as the veins are really cool! The text is from the Delicious Fall stamp set (in the new Fall Supplement) but I really should have used a "thankful" or "grateful" stamp and probably will in the class. I colored the 1/2" white satin ribbon with Copic marker E74. So cool to be able to color white ribbon to coordinate with your project colors! I really wanted  to match the orange but didn't have the right colored marker.  Darn.  The pattern paper edge was made with a Fiskars Treading Water border punch.  And again, I used a sketch by Heather.

I didn't sell much at the mini craft fair on Saturday but I did book a party and get a new customer.  Wanna hear about my blooper...  I made 40 business cards with my new email address but apparently forgot to "save" the changes and printed out 40 cards with the OLD address!  What a hoot! Guess what I'll be doing this week!!
