Big game.....

I'm a Wyoming gal, lived there for the majority of my life, our son was born and still lives there...  Anyway, we lived just 70 miles east of Yellowstone Park.  The drive from Cody to the Park had a wide array of "big game" which would be moose, deer, elk, bears, and more.  I loved seeing these majestic animals.  TAC used to have a wonderful stamp set called Moose.  It's been retired for quite some time but I still have my set. And with Father's Day coming up in a month I decided to make a couple cards using this set.

I was using some paper left over from some kits I made for the local scrapbooking store in Green Valley, AZ  It went perfectly with the stamps so here's the first one.  The images are stamped on watercolor paper for a little softer look. I used my 1/2" circle punch to embellish the card and keep it masculine.

Here's the deer close up.  I used Burnt Umber PH ink as it coordinated very well with the paper.  I'm not real sure if I like my sketch or layout.  I tried numerous things but this was the only one that kinda flowed.  What do you think?

Just Perfect!!! Love the DP and the burnt umber is just the right color for the deer.

Great masculine card! The DP looks great with the deer image. I like how you "distressed" the sentiment box, too. Very fun!

Big game...can't get gecko to open in an earlier post so will type here as the comment box will open for this entry. Saw this on a tire store's wall message board last night. When your gecko is broken what do you have? Reptile dysfunction.
Even the gent in the car was chuckling over the little guy insurance reptile carrying off another comment with great fame! Ha!
