Truckin' Along

I was so taken with this die from Spellbinders that I just had to subscribe to their Large Die of the Month club. I'm glad I did and I got this very cool die set.... and it was sold out right after I got mine!  (I have to admit that I'm addicted to dies....  LOL!)

I will be using it a LOT though you cannot get it UNLESS Spellbinders gets it back in stock.

My hubby's bday is next week and, yeah I'm sure you've heard this before in my videos, he's getting his 1947 International 1 ton truck painted blue.  So, this fun die is PERFECT for his card!!

I did use some retired scraps to make the fun little birthday gift in the back of the pickup.  Doesn't it look like it's in the truck! I should have used Cranberry Bliss card stock (CS-0090) for the little lights but that thought was after the deed was done so a bit of Cranberry Silk did the job!

I embossed the sentiment and realized afterward that I didn't use Colorless PanPastel (JM-0095) or a static pad before applying the powder.  Yep, a few stray flecks. And I had to do the die cutting BEFORE stamping with clear ink and embossing or the die cut machine would have ruined the embossing.
