Joy To The World

Did you see my YouTube video from last Friday?  I was having some fun playing the the 3D Angel die from Spellbinders using different card stocks.

The far left angel was made with the white from Pearled Basics card stock. The pearl is on both sides so the angel looks great from any direction.  I added a loop of Journey Thread Silver to hang it.
For the middle angel I used our Brushed Gold card stock which is also double sided. I plan on adding a loop of Journey Thread Gold to hang it.
The right angel used Brushed Silver card stock.  Again I'll use Journey Thread Silver for hanging.

I did a 4th angel using our Mirror Silver card stock.  It's not double sided so it really won't work that well as an ornament but I mounted it on a card and love the effect!  I added a double loop bow of Journey Thread Silver and attached with a Glue Dot. And before adhering the angel and sentiment I flicked some Whip Cream and Sparkle Silks for fun.
Card stocks: Whip Cream and Black Licorice
Print paper: Cozy Prints
Stamps: Oh Holy (retired)
Ink: Black Licorice
Silk: Whip Cream and Sparkle
Thread: Journey Thread Silver
Dies: Journey Ovals
Tools: Details Pro Shears, Platinum Machine, Bloom Tool, Clear Block K, and Paper Trimmer
Adhesives: Easy Glide Runner, Foam Squares Med., and Glue Dots

I actually adhered the back part of the angel down flat on the black oval then cut a medium foam square in half and adhered 1/2 on 1 side between the layers and the other half on the other side. I did end up adding a glue dot at the very bottom up against the slit to keep the top part of the bottom of the angel down.

Head on over to my YouTube link and check out my video.  It's not edited as I don't know how but I think I give you a good look at the angels and how I put them together.
