A Busy Workdesk

It's a gorgeous Wednesday!  The temperatures have abated a bit, down from 94*F to 81 but yesterday, oh the wind! But I'm dreading Sunday, we're supposed to hit triple digits... I sure hope not!  But today you're in for your weekly treat, a view of my desk.  It's been busy and I have to clear it often.  And I'm joining up with Julia at the Stamping Ground as I have been for about 5 years.

In front on the far left is a basket full of cards that I'm finishing up and prepping to either give away or sell as I may have a new venue opening up.  Then you can see a chipboard envelope and unmounted stamps that I'm working with to finish a card that's on my stamp platform. Far right is my ATG adhesive roller. The back half of my desk is my Scan N Cut2, my red box with my acrylic blocks (they don't get a lot of use but I need them), some cards, ink pads, tools, OTT light, and basket of scraps.

As to why my desk is so busy, the company I'm with released the list of retiring products and I've been making cards using those products I have to showcase the stamps. I've been posting 5 cards a week and will for a while. Right now I have posts scheduled through next week! And I need to make some banners for our kids along with some Mother's Day cards and some other projects as we'll be gone much of June. Best for me to start sooner than later!!

So now please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to many other desks! You'll see a wide variety!  And often some great projects and scenery!

Hi Carol, sounds like you have been busy. Mother's Day is in March in the UK but my mum will be celebrating for the second time as she is currently visiting my brother in Canada. Hope things calm down for you soon and that it's not too hot at the weekend. Sarah #9

Full of creativity, I love when we get to revisit products especially stamps that we have forgotten or are about to go into retirement, it always seems to bring a new burst of energy to me. Hope we get to see what you have been creating with them.
Wishing you all the best with the new venue & Thank you for sharing WOYWW.

A busy week ahead for you and it sounds like fun. I just finished removing wood blocks from stamps and started learning to use the stamping platform. . I do not use stamps very often but at least now they are organized, even that is a shock to me! have a good week.

I'm very envious of the temps you're experiencing! It's very windy here too but it's freezing as the wind is coming down from the Arctic...brrrrr. That new venue sounds interesting, I hope it's really successful for you!

Wowzah, that looks and sounds busy (and you are!)... but as long as it is 'creative business' it is fun, isn't it?! Happy woyww and a hug from the Netherlands, Marit #23

Goodness Carol - and people are saying I'm busy! Nothing compared to yourself. I do hope you get everything done before you go away - and can therefore relax and enjoy!
Take care. God bless.

The weather here has been lots of rain and wind this morning then bright sunshine in the afternoon and it's still quite chilly but it's that time of the year. I had a quick look at your earlier cards and they are great, looks like you've been very busy. Thanks for the visit to mine and your lovely comments, very kind. Have a lovely woyww and a happy crafty week, Angela x18x
