More Easter Blessings

I hope you're enjoying my Easter cards.  I had a blast making them at the retreat last weekend.

This card came about from some scraps from a class I taught.  I love the bright colors!  I cut out many flowers and pieces of flowers from the left-over piece which I also used inside the card with the sentiment.  I used a Spellbinders die for the white and green label and colored the flower centers on the label with the Stardust Clear Gel pen.

All my cards have Christian sentiments but this card has the Cross of Nails on the cover.  I purchased this stamp from Eureka stamps (link in the left sidebar and go to Rubber Stamps once there then Easter) and I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder to make the sun rays.  I did swipe a yellow ink pad over the raised image to make it look more like rays.  I lightly colored the Cross with Copic markers. I maybe should have used some Crystal Lacquer (Diamond Glaze) on the cross but didn't have that with me at the retreat and haven't gotten around to it once I got home.

Wow! Eureaka! What stamp story you set to color using a Tim Holtz sun ray folder! Thank you for making this example a blog speciality.
Keep Looking UP!
